A moving film from award winning social film maker Will Geffin about an old woman who moves in with with her daughter and son-in-law and how she is gradually taken advantage of. The old woman has flashbacks to a happier time in her life when she was an old time musical hall singer. The film explores the important issue of how people can be taken advantage of and features a special performance from June Elvin, a film ingenue from the early days of British film industry. June was signed to Rank and Ealing film studies who starred in some major British films of the 20th century from the likes of directors like Michael Powell and The Boulting Brothers.
