An everyday 'nobody' who lives his sad life in black and white but dreams of the perfect girl in a fantasy world of colour.

Michael lives his 'fantasy' life in glorious technicolor because his real life is lived in gloomy black and white. Living a seedy, boring and monotonous existence in London he falls for a glamorous woman he spots on the street. He enters a world of colourful fantasy about their life together.
