Son returns home from University, haunted by memories of parental strife.

Liam, the younger son of a family is brought home from University by his older brother Jack, 8 years his senior. Memories of his feuding parents are triggered by an old sofa in his unchanged old den, where he used to seek refuge from their battles. Meets up with old school friends who invite him to a party. Despite 'seeing' his parents fighting, he intervenes in a fight between one of his old friends Michelle and her controlling boyfriend, Ryan. Liam returns home and finds a way to get rid of the ghosts of his parents for good.
