'Studio A' is a pilot for a news based sit-com
A producer is called in last minute to fix a local news programme when the previous producer had left due to an untold ‘event’. She is thrown in with half an hour till the show starts, and everything is going wrong. She has to prove herself as the new leader but clashes with the obnoxious anchorman and struggles to get her voice heard. We see her first day in the new production and it doesn’t go smoothly, to say the least.
