A murder pinned on a necromacer causes her to investigate the case with the ghost's help.

Summer finds Sigourney Winters' corpse in her bath tub and communes to fnd that Winters has no idea how she died. The poice ask Summer to aid in the investigation, which leads her to the coven. She seeks help from an ex-necromancer and Winters' brother, when they are attacked by "raisers", finding out who the murderer and their assailant is. Summer asks her brother Artan to aid in the capture of the rogue necromancer, who turns out to be his other half.
