Father and son deal with consequences of Father's illness in Medieval Wales
In Wales, 1437, Daffyd suffers from a rare condition called Porphyria, which causes his skin to blister and break in the sun. He and his son Rhys are outcasts from their town because of this. The townspeople believe that they are cursed, and blame them for the plague visiting their town.
