The Man of the Sunset describes a visionary moment when he witnessed an extraordinary sunset at Maratea. It was a life changing moment. Subsequently he succumbs to Covid-19 and has a painful and lonely death. He reflects on the darkness of our age, but sees hope in the cyclical nature of the seasons, life and civilization.
