A curious synthetic human decides to find his purpose in life against the orders of his creator. After completing his routine tests, Synth #99 is ordered to wait in the doctor's office while the doctor attends to some errands. Despite the doctor's order, 99 decides to explore the world and meets a kind girl that he forms a bond with. As the sun sets, 99 rushes back to the doctor's office, only to find that the doctor is waiting for him, revealing an unimaginable truth. /and the events that follow reveal an unimaginable truth.
