After escaping her kidnapper of 2 months, Annie develops severe PTSD
It's 1985. After escaping her kidnapper of 2 months, Annie develops severe PTSD. This makes her physically unable to speak or open up to anyone. The trauma has left her feeling powerless. As though her body isn't hers anymore. With the help of a psychologist, Patrick, Annie battles to restore her present life while confronting the constant triggers of her past. After numerous sessions, both come to learn that the only way to gain her power back isn't necessarily the most conventional; through learning self-defence.
