Marilyn, the femme fatal is trying to escape a loveless marriage in order to run away with her lover. After she meets a detective who was hired by her husband to spy on her she begins a relationship with him and lures him into a plan to murder her husband. She wants true freedom and the chance to be with the man she really loves. The detective simply wants her and is unaware of her ulterior motives.
