A young music student struggles with her failing relationship and her lack of confidence, consequently she seeks escapism through her musical creativity leading her to move towards her goals and realize the only one holding her back is herself.

GRACE MORGAN, 20s, quiet and courteous, who conducts herself in a timid manor, is a passionate singer and pianist that attends the Birmingham Conservatoire. She has been in a serious relationship for a while with writer MATT HANSON, 20s, who has struggled to find creative work for quite some time. Both characters are flawed as Grace doesn't communicate her feelings well and Matt is resentful of her rising success at the conservatoire. Tensions are high in their bitter relationship, as the pair sit down and attempt to have a pleasant dinner, an argument ensues.
