Martin is plagued by the memory of his best friends murder, which he could have prevented. Driven mad by the guilt he seeks out an unorthodox treatment on the mind whereupon a memory is re-lived, with an altered outcome, therefore changing the memory. There are strict rules to follow and when Martin fails to follow them, things take a turn, for better or for worse..
