A struggling artist achieves success at the cost of his sanity

Stanley, a struggling artist and painter, is commissioned to create an artwork for a prestigious gallery. When he shows his work to the gallery's curator she rejects it and tells him to think again. Disheartened, but undefeated, Stanley returns to his studio with the aim of creating something truly original. However, the mental strain on Stanley soon takes its toll as he slowly begins to understand the true price of great art.
