The Blender

Chloe searches for her voice through her memories of her mother leaving.
Just as her mother is about to be hit by a car Chloe wakes up to realise the sound that she had dreamed as the car is a blender whirring loudly as she sleeps at the kitchen table. This triggers a memory of the arguing between her parents and her mother leaving. The parents had used the blender to overpower each others shouting. Chloe was voiceless and couldn't stop her mother from leaving. As the pain in Chloe rises, her memories become violent and muddled and she begins to scream at the blender to stop. Her father stops it suddenly and Chloe finally looks her father in the eyes, tears rolling down her face.
