Relationship between daughter and Mother
This film is about the reality of prevalent prejudices and the impact it has on the resistance of two friends coming from different social classes against this prejudice. Two friends, Mamta (11) & Pria (12), live in an Indian Courtyard house. One works as the housemaid, while the other is the daughter of the house. One day, something happens in the house. While Mamta is accused, Pria tries to take her side, but doesn't quite succeed to go far enough in helping her friend due to her mother's influence over her. Accusations are made; bonds are broken. As Pria is left alone with a broken plate of friendship, the film brings to question the sensitive reality of the fragility of their relationship under the circumstances.
