Lucas Evans was missing for over a year before being presumed dead, having disappeared at a psychiatric asylum where he was being treated for schizophrenia. His twin brother Ryan is convinced that Lucas isn’t dead, suffering with powerful visions of him telling him as much. An encounter with a friend of Lucas’ at his funeral further convinces Ryan that he is right – his brother is indeed not dead. Ryan begins a quest to discover what happened to his brother and why he disappeared at the asylum – he learns of his brother’s visions of the devil and the experiments that occurred at the asylum. The quest leads Ryan back to the now abandoned asylum, and it’s there that he discovers shocking discoveries not only about Lucas, but also concerning his own past which has returned to haunt him.
