A film noir style film. Set in 1940s Hollywood. Miles Hardy, a recently retired detective has returned to his home town after stealing money from one of his jobs. Back home, he runs into Candy Jones, an old flame. Together they they go on a journey fighting police corruption and mafia gangsters.
