A young girl tries to find a way for her blind mother, who was a successful artist, to paint again.

Evie (9) sees how depressed her mother has become since she lost her eyesight and starts practising doing things blindfolded in the hopes of understanding what she is going through. One day, she discovers a way to identify items with textures and through this comes up with a solution to help her mum paint again.
