Sam Kinsley, an ex royal marine officer, returns home to find that he is tormented by the memories of the roadside bombing that claimed his comrades lives. Though dubbed a war hero, he cannot come to terms with his survival, and blames himself for their deaths, eventually leading to tragedy.
