The Gift

The Gift tells the story of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti through a couple's chaotic relationship in Toronto.

On January 12th, 2010, a devastating earthquake hit Haiti... Back in Toronto, Anne, a Haitian artist and teacher, watches the news footage of her ravaged homeland. When she learns that her fiancée Daniel, a respected lawyer, has been rescued, she is relieved; but that relief is short-lived... It is reported that Daniel has lost both his leg and his family - a wife and a son she did not know anything about! Betrayed, Anne must decide whether to help the man she loves overcome his loss, or cut him out of her life forever.
