On 18th April 1906, San Francisco was hit by a massive earthquake measuring 8.3 on the Richter scale. Three quarters of the city was destroyed and 3000 people lost their lives. The film tells the story of the greed, corruption and fatal mistakes that were made in the City’s reconstruction, which ensure a repeat of the 1906 disaster is inevitable. But there is hope, a team of scientists are now working on saving San Francisco from its terrible destiny.
