The Heritage of Love (Russian: Герой, Geroy, "Hero") is a Russian romantic drama film inspired by a true story. It is set against the Russian Revolution and subsequent onset of civil war, as well as contemporary Paris.
Andrey goes to Paris to visit the grave of his great-grandfather, who had been an officer in the White Army. On the headstone of the next grave, he notices the face of a young woman. He will see this face again.
