The Hollow Bind is an art film that follows the story of a painter that learns to overcome their anxieties about mortality. Its themes look to address mental health in the 'lockdown' environment, (with the protagonist trapped within a room with no exit), and the fight to create a sense of purpose, direction and hope within what seems to be a doomed world. The protagonist, a young painter, confronts their own mortality, musing on the functions of art, love and fear in conversation with a skull that has manifested itself into existence, (a literal embodiment of fear and anxiety).
