An absurdist comedy about two men making up the front and back of a horse, before entering the Grand National

Two down on their luck men discuss the ups and downs of their career as the front and back halves of a once famous race horse. Their recent loss has had a large impact on them, but more so Gary the back half who is fearing for his life with the increased use of the whip, and ultimately wants out. Paul, the front half, battles to keep the team alive for his own benefit, however to no avail as for Gary sometimes it's just better to fade away than burn out. Burning out can be really messy.
