Inspired by Brexit, four friends decide to declare themselves independent from the UK. Creating 'The Kingdom' in one of their back gardens, tensions rise as the high proximity to one another and conflicting desires makes life strained. Following the unexpected arrival of a new member, an argument breaks out within the group, leading to further divides, and the future of The Kingdom is put into question.
