The Laila Mythology

From the annals of British folklore comes a new chapter that once again reunites the reader  with the ancient world of Celtic mythology, where the mystical beasts of legend that forged  the chronicles of heroic sagas and the psyche of western culture are reawakened in the  twenty first century by a young girl named Laila. Whilst out on a spring saunter in Epping woods, Laila is unexpectedly set upon and  despoiled of her treasured necklace by a pilfering opportunistic magpie. Subsequently she  finds herself on a search for its recovery, but soon discovers more than she had bargained  for, when the magpie who stole it turns out to be none other than a nefarious shaman  named Ibora, who appears to have mistaken her pendant for that of a mythical jewel known  as the Brisingamen.
