The Note

The Note becomes his personal obsession of finding his once lost son.

The Note is the story of Michael, a middle aged alcoholic suffering mentally as well as physically from his addiction. He is heavily burdened with guilt about the way that he has treated his family in the past. Michael imagines a reunion with his son and has dreams of reconciliation. These dreams centre around 'the note', which becomes his personal obsession and the key to finding his lost son. Michaels already fragile mental state which is caused by heavy drinking, gradually leads him down the path to question his own life.
