An off beat and quirky black comedy about a 40-something female journalist coming to terms with life writing obituaries for a local newspaper. Stuck in a rut, and seemingly at a dead end in both her career and personal life, she resorts to drinking and chain smoking to pass the time at the computer. But help is on its way from her best friend and his overtly camp boyfriend. In order to overcome her fears and to actually help her master the art of obituary writing, the friend suggests she writes his.... The consequence of this is a dark comic twist of fate for them all.
