Dr. Rose, a psychologist who specializes in confronting PTSD in vets, is haunted by the suicide of one of his patients. He hides behind the success of his new book and puts on a happy face, but secretly he medicates himself. The doctor is tormented by a recurring nightmare of a shadowy figure hiding in the corner of his room. One day, Imari, a teen with violent tendencies visits Dr. Rose to help him unravel the mystery of his violent behavior. The doctor reluctantly takes on the challenge, and as the weeks go by it becomes clear that the violent patterns are no coincidence.
