Relationships can develop between anyone.

Mourning the loss of her daughter, Carrie sets out to find a few items of clothing belonging to her daughter that, unbeknownst to her, were given away by her sister. She finds the shop, as well as the clothes, except a scarf. The salesgirl tells Carrie that the scarf was purchased by a hooker and tells Carrie she can be found working "the track." She finds the girl & their relationship develops in a very odd way.
