Recently bereaved John heads off to find his way in the world. A good man, he does what he can for the sake of others, and potentially to his own detriment. He is joined by a mysterious stranger, who travels with him, and helps him to break the spell on a bewitched princess who demands the death of all suitors who fail to answer her three questions.
