The Truth About Romance is an honest tale of love and relationships. We follow two friends through the highs and lows of romance, love and women. Josh is an old romantic, he longs for the day he finds love at first sight, unfortunately this is every woman that says hello to him. His friend Chris is having a midlife crisis in his mid-twenties. Stuck in a relationship, stuck in a routine. All he has to look forward to is his Friday night with Josh. Cue Emily, a beautiful free spirit. She's quite the opposite to Josh, but then opposites attract. She spontaneously invites Josh to a house party, even though they have only just met. Josh is reluctant to go, however this is exactly what Chris needs. At the party the two friends take very different paths. Falling in and out of love can be emotional, unpredictable and very funny. Just because this is a tale of romance, doesn't make it a romantic tale.
