The Woods

Run but you will not escape, hide but you will be found, hushs and you will be heard. In the woods, shadows are coated by darkness, ‘The Black’ will swallow you and you. will. Die.

The story follows our protagonist MAN, all we know is that he is fleeing in the woods from an unknown, unearthly being called ‘The Black’. His only objective is to escape from the clutches of this beast. This point of view will be set in the dead of night in order to add more of and eerie tone to the chase. The counterpart will take place in the day where OLDER MAN will be retracing everything that happened to the MAN on the night. We imaging the OLDER MAN wants to find MAN and bring him home, but this is not the case. OLDER MAN is making sure that MAN has been swallowed by the ‘The Black’ and will not return to society to tell his tales of what he has experienced. In the end, OLDER MAN will find the charred remains of MAN against a tree deep in the woods, his mission has been a success. But this does not mean that ‘The Black’ will rest.
