A man, dissatisfied with his relationship history, marries himself and experiences the usual trials and tribulations of matrimonial life
After a string of failed relationships, Oliver comes to the decision to marry himself. It is a very happy marriage in the short term except but eventually and inevitably he succumbs to loneliness. The only way to have a divorce granted is to be adulterous, which he does. A divorce is given and he eventually settles for his initial mistress.
