Jewish family gathered around the dinner table for their annual post Yom Kippur break fast meal.

Mary and Vedrana are step-sisters. They could not be more different: Mary is a secondary school teacher who leads a mundane life; Vedrana is a supermodel who jet sets around the world and is a very popular presence on social media. The two have always been rivals but this comes to a head when Vedrana gets a new boyfriend who began dating her after having previously gone on a disastrous date with Mary. As they gather for the dinner, the tension is felt in the air and is not aided by Esther, Mary's mother and Vedrana's step-mother, who speaks her mind and always manages to say something that rubs Mary the wrong the way. Also present at the table are Aaron, Mary's dimwitted teenage son and Jayden, a mysterious guest accompanying Vedrana. Will the family survive the dinner?
