A futuristic view of a girl becoming an adult

Junior 13 officially becomes an adult, and is given the metal bracelet that all adults in her community wear. The bracelet talks to her, gives her instructions. She makes a journey to the university on her first day, passing a range of people - some of whom are ordinary, others strange. She places herself in danger by disobeying an instruction from the bracelet.
