A film version of the futurist painting of the same name by Umberto Boccioni
A father takes leave of his daughter at Leeds Bradford airport. He follows her towards the departure gate. She turns to take her case from him and say goodbye, then turns and walks away. He watches until she disappears through the double doors leading to the plane. He turns to walk slowly away, looking back briefly towards the double doors. We see him walking away outside as dusk falls.
