Man revisits his painful childhood

Set in the turn of the century. A gypsy woman visits a community professing to have the 'three nails' that Christ was pinned to the cross by.A local God fearing young married woman will do any thing to get them. Her mission is watched by her nephew who later in life is haunted by his Aunts actions and returns to her home to make sense of this period of his life.
