A man is trapped in a boring routine until a dog shows him a new path

John is a normal office worker who follows his daily routine precisely to the second. He hasn't had a holiday in 15 years and when his boss tells him to take one he doesn't know what to do. On route home he bumps into a stray dog who he takes in and through the dog his routine is slowly broken until he decides to get out off the routine completely and start living for once.
