Joe's sister has been murdered by the Italian Mafia and he does not know why. He knows that she was involved with this group of people but does not know how she was involved. He decides to take it upon himself to find out who murdered his sister and why. Joe infiltrates himself into the Italian Mafia and begins to wonder whether this is the life that he wants for himself, as he is finding friendship and getting to know people like he has never known before. He becomes close to the 'Don' of the mafia and begins to trust him through work they have done together. The first time the 'Don' notices him is when Joe saves him from almost being shot, as he jumps in the way of someone shooting him and takes the wound himself. The 'Don' is grateful for this and takes Joe under his wing. This is his new father figure. Along the way he is forced to kill an innocent girl, who has split up with one of the Mafia people in order to not blow his cover. As he becomes more in depth within the society of the mafia and is becoming more trusted, getting inside information more and more, he begins to realise what his sister has actually done and why she has been murdered. He is shocked and upset by this but still isn't sure whether taking revenge would be an option now that he's so involved within the mafia. Joe later finds out that his newly found father figure is the man who murdered his sister. He confronts him and there is a massive battle scene, where the whole mafia is up against Joe. He kills the 'Don' of the mafia and flees the country, leaving to scatter his sister's ashes, where she can now rest in peace, with her killer dead.
