A girl uses virtual reality as an escape from her grim reality.

Set in a dystopian future, the Corporation uses a sub-species of humans known as Hominines for free labor. Anna is a Hominine production unit, used to battery farm workers for the Corporation. She finds love in a Hominine called Alek, however they can only communicate through virtual trips called Visudays.
