A robbery that goes wrong when the victims' personal lives become known

Two robbers gain entry into a man's house and hold him and his wife hostage. One of them realises that the wife has got extensive bruises and assumes that she is being abused by her husband. This brings up memories from his own past and he takes it out on the husband.
