We follow the socially awkward, struggling independent games developer Lee. He’s too shy to talk to the girl he likes, and too poor to make the game he wants. With Ray, his best friend and business partner, they work together to design and create the greatest video game they can imagine, with little-to-no commercial success… But then one day the universe mysteriously gifts Lee a strange cube-like object, and Lee starts to see his fate change…
