Chris is a young man in his early twenties, with aspirations being awakened by his best friend, Sara to become a screenwriter. They collaborative as a team for years until one day Sara reveals she is leaving to chase her career abroad. Almost three years later and Chris is now studying throughout the week and a part time job at the weekends, driven by pure ambition but it is clear that the separation from Sara has not only affected his inspiration, but over time, the relationships with his friends and his bond with his little brother, Luke. The condemning inevitability of the loss of friendship frightens Chris all too much until he realises that isolation is not the answer when he becomes self aware of his emotional state when it even manages to prevent him from seeing Sara again who’s on a visit. Chris feels split between his ambition and his friends but neither seems to work without the other, he must combine ambition and friendship if he’s to achieve his ‘real’ goal.
