This is a story about a 7 year old girl who finds out Santa isn't real

This is a film about lying and unspeakable truths. Most parents lie to their kids about Santa and never stop to question the repercussions of this world shattering moment - we all assume the kids will be fine. There is also a great deal of cognitive dissonance required to lie about this and teach your kids that lying is bad. Santa is a lie we want to believe. The reality that some children are abused is a truth we want to ignore.
