White Sails - Black London

2017, 6 minutes

A musical look at the life of non-white Londoners in the 18th Century

The opposite of a Jane Austen costume drama - the underground black dance and music scene in Georgian London, featuring sails, slavery and rap style violin duels and the music of Chevalier St Georges, a black French composer. White Sails Black London is a snapshot of the lives of Black Londoners in the 1700s.
