within the windows is about the stories locked and lost within our data. today, the big data revolution is promoting companies into hoarding our information for commercial purposes. text messages, emails, health trackers, bank statements, arrest records, health forms, and search histories are stored, processed, and analyzed for tailored marketing. tomorrow,OmniPan™ has collected more data on more people than any other corporation. algorithms sift through content to determine whether or not they're commercially valuable. when their systems cannot clearly categorize a person's data, files find their way to the desks of a team of workers called "Content Curators." Hamilton Orini, a content curator, inspects these ambiguous files to determine whether they will be forever deleted or packaged and sold. within the windows takes place within Hamilton's screen and within thousands of files. bouncing around from character to character and scene to scene and city to city, we will uncover the stories locked inside of our data.
