A Baroque-style short fantasy film for the 'Wonderland' festival in Riyadh
A rich European Emperor demands an Arabian Treasure and sends out a Minister to find one. The Minister comes back with a camel, which the Emperor adores. Despite this, the camel is lonely and misses home, but gives birth to a baby boy, Bahnas - half-human, half-camel. Bahnas grows up in the stately home among good friends and great wealth. Despite this, Bahnas feels that he doesn't belong. On her deathbed, Bahnas' mother has but one wish, that Bahnas returns to his true homeland. Bahnas then steals away at night to return back to his true home, leaving behind a letter to the Emperor, thanking him for his upbringing and his generous gifts.
