Maureen embarks on a once in a lifetime journey to Wonderland in Florida, so that her terminally ill daughter can meet her favourite theme park character, Mr. Bear.

A moving family drama based on the one act play 'Disneyland it Ain't' by Sue Townsend. Maureen takes a once in a lifetime journey to Wonderland, a renowned Orlando Theme Park , so that her terminally ill daughter, Alice, can fulfill her last wish to meet her favourite character, Mr. Bear. The journey to Florida is so hard on Alice, that she is too weak to leave the motel, so Maureen goes in search of Mr. Bear, to persuade him to come to Alice. Mr. Bear has no desire to get involved.
