    Hi Guys

It's a bit of a stab in the dark but does anyone know the email address (not website) of a US casting agency called "Mali Finn"?

    Thanks in advance...

You are so chasing the lead role he currently advertising for aren't you??

He seems to be very elusive with regards to a direct email address and specifically states all applications for this role should be sent via snail-mail and as the deadline is the 19th this isn't going to work, is it.

If I were you I would download the application for from his website "www.malifinncasting.com/", complete it using MS Word and apply to "[email protected]". 99% of websites use the "[email protected]" prefix and this usually goes to a general maildrop at the receptionists station.

    Good luck,

Thanks for the advice Forbes! I wouldn't say I'm chasing for the lead, more like having a sniff. I'm too lazy for snail mail so I'm giving it a miss, can't be arsed to rush, rush, rush - lazy or what!!!

    Have a nice Christmas!

    Hi

As Mali Finn casting is one of the biggest casting directors in the USA. They will most def not read an email. Its snail mail. Its a worldwide search for the lead.

If you going to be lazy then don't bother at all.

Sorry - for being direct. But their are millions of girls after this part and if you can't post your submission (as asked) then you don't really want a casting for the part.

Actors are meant to be professional. Lets keep the standard high !!!

I doubt it. They are very strict with the deadline. Airmail takes 3-5 working days to get to the USA. Then it still needs to be despatched from their depot.

    You could always try though...

    Monday is deadline.

Not sure about any other courier service, maybe if you pay them an extortionate amount! Though I have thought of one idea...if you know some one in the States, you could email them the application form already filled in and photos too, and they could try posting it for you that end.

I don't know anybody across the Atlantic but hope that helps...

I am sure, if you wanted to pay, you could get it there next day delivery overseas with FedEx or something similar. I am from Canada so I know about posting things a long way. Having said all that, it would cost quite a bit. Especially at this time of year. I like the idea of getting someone you might know overseas to do it. However, unless they live next door, they would still have to send it next day delivery! You could always send an email to, or even phone, the casting director as well to tell them it is on it's way.

Sometimes the work can be worth it, and you know, we all get lazy, but I wouldn't advertise it in future. Joking or not, I hate working with people who can't be asked. Right Forbes???

(I am not in anyway saying that Forbes can't be asked, he certainly can, it is a private joke. Hopefully he will get it. Ha HA??!!)

    Good Luck. xoxo.

There are specifics for the photos, but if you took the photos on digital camera and your uncle has a way of nicely printing them out, I am sure he could write the specifics etc. on the back of the print outs. dont you think?

I'm sure your uncle could try printing your photos out at the same time as the application and if no joy he could type out some links to your webpages for reference. Anyway, fingers crossed Emma and let us know how you get on....regards

(I didn't mean to (jokingly) advertise my laziness but do other industry bods get to look on this green room other than actors?)

As far as I can tell, anyone can come on this site and look at the comments made on the green room (and as you know our pics show up with a link to our profiles). Defos something to be aware of when posting. Think that's why some people post anonymously when making certain comments! However I may be wrong.

I saw the advert in PCR on Monday, so a week during the Christmas run-up is a push, but it's worth it surely? Nothing to lose!

I sent my application off on Thursday.

It was going to cost £36 to get there on next day delivery as it's so near xmas (instead of the £4.50 it would normally cost) so I just sent it normal post.

They don't think it'll get there by monday - but hey the envelope was sealed so I may as well send it off - you never know - someone out there may be looking out for me!
